This event will bring together school leaders, students, and key stakeholders to showcase innovations, discuss school environments, and explore Nepal’s evolving education system.

Organized by Kasin Media Pvt. Ltd., this initiative aims to foster interest in STEM fields among students from Kathmandu Metropolitan City's Election Number 2, specifically Wards 9 and 32. Below are the details regarding participation, project guidelines, and sponsorship opportunities.

Program Details for Participants

1. Eligibility:
  • Schools and students from Kathmandu Metropolitan City's Wards 9 and 32 are eligible to participate.
  • Each school must participate in at least one wing:
    • Junior Wing: Grades up to 5
    • Senior Wing: Grades 6 to 10
2. Registration and Venue:
  • Standard Registration Deadline: February 28, 2025
    • Fee: NPR 10,000 for one wing, NPR 15,000 for both wings.
  • Late Registration (with double fee): Until March 4, 2025.
  • Participation details will be announced on March 5, 2025.
  • Schools must submit the List of Participating Students and selected Project Them before the deadline.

Project Requirements for Participating Teams

Each participating team must present a project utilizing STEM equipment worth NPR 7,500. One wing's cost cannot exceed NPR 7,500.

4. Event Highlights:
  • Workshops: Hands-on sessions covering various STEM topics.
  • Competitions: Science fairs, robotics challenges, and coding contests.
  • Guest Lectures: Talks by professionals from Kathmandu University's Department of STEM Education and other esteemed institutions.
5. Project Equipment & Cost:
  • Each team must develop a STEM project using equipment worth up to NPR 7,500.
  • Each wing's project cost cannot exceed NPR 7,500 (teams must cover this cost).

NOTE: The cost of equipment for the presentation shall be covered by the participating school or student.

6. Prizes:
  • Both Junior and Senior Wings will have separate winners.
  • Awards for First, Second, and Third place in both categories.
7. Judge:

The final decision will be made by the judges. The judging panel will consist of professionals with expertise in STEM, representatives from PABSON, and other relevant sectors, ensuring an unbiased and fair evaluation.

  • Chief Guest: Hon. Biddhya Bhattrai, Minister of Education, Science & Technology (if incase Governmental issue generate, then Educational Ministerial Higher Officer will be our Chief Guest)
